Margvelashvili Giorgi » Regional cooperation

What would be your foreign policy towards the South Caucasus and Black Sea regions?

As a country bordering the Black Sea, Georgia is a part of Europe geographically, politically, culturally, economically, trade- and safety space-wise.

EU borders the other part of the Black Sea. We need to start building a bridge towards that other shore. Georgia has to especially deepen the partnership with the countries of the region. By strengthening the political, economical, trade and cultural connections between the Black Sea and Caspian Sea regions, Georgia has to play the part of the regional leader regarding democratic development.
